Ateliers Westerdok offers open sessions for anyone wishing to paint or draw independently using a live model. Professionals and amateurs can brush up their drawing and painting skills and technique in an informal atmosphere.
Professional and experienced models with varied looks and body-types are booked to support and facilitate the creative process.
There is no formal teaching but there is always a guide on hand (who also paints or draws him/herself) to supervise the class and to facilitate the models. Models pose clothed, nude or semi-nude. The character of each session varies according to the model, chosen theme or poses and the length of each pose.
You will need to provide your own drawing and painting materials. Paper is available if required. A workspace with an easel and a table is ready for you at the studio.
Waitinglist
Are all places reserved but would you like to participate if a space becomes available? Then sign up for the waiting list. If someone has to unsubscribe, you will receive a message that a place has become available and you can still make your booking.
Modelfee
For each session an additional contribution of € 5 per participant per session will be charged for the model pool, which is managed on behalf of the participants by Ateliers Westerdok. This extra contribution will be settled when you book your Prepaid. The prices stated in the agenda are without the contribution for the modelfee. The amount for this modelfee will only be visible during the registration process.
